Tired, but not weary.
I'm still trying to process this.
There will never be a time in my life where I do not empathize with black people.
I still don't have much to say aside from
I feel for you. I hurt with you. I mourn with you. I know.
We are expected to move with resilience in the face of adveristy and act as if we are not hurting in order to protect white fragility.
We are expected to "stay strong".
We are expected to create spaces for peace.
People are tired, but not weary. We will continue to fight for equality on any grounds.
I find myself praying much more often these days.
That seems to be the only consolation during these trying times.
I encourage you all to not lose faith. Continue to trust in God and through Him, we will find eternal peace.
Be easy. Be vigilant. Be who you need to be- to serve your purpose.
